giggling summer toes painted

tank tops, no socks

& jumping up & down until

chlorine smells

& vacant garages,

you parked your car in sun,

with green leaves

strawberry icecream

& orange popsicles that

melted before you finished.

summer was a ball,

beauty before fall.
