to this house in the hills

complete with an indoor hot-tub

& 1000 dvd library

with velvet purple curtains

that feel like they should melt

when you touch them.

while the owners sit in opera houses

drinking overly priced champagne

& looking through binoculars

i steal their expensive french sounding

liquor

& lay on the roof

sleeping in a blanket of stars.
